Cherub

The Cherub is a 2 person, 12-foot racing dinghy with spinnaker and trapeze. Some call it a Cherub a baby 18 foot skiff, although the Cherub is a little more moderate, and doesn't have quite the sail area of the 18.

An intermediate class, most Cherub sailors are aged between 16 and 28. The Cherub offers the high performance of a skiff class with the cost advantage of a restricted design, and a healthy social scene off the water.

The Cherub has a wide spectrum of weight carrying capacity, ranging from the very light 110 kg combined crew weights to the heavies of around 150-160kgs.
