2010-11 Manly Junior NSW State Championship

The Manly Junior State Champs is run over three weekends through the summer. The series involves over 50 crews racing in the Open and Novice classes. All the details are in the Notice of Race.

Regatta 1: 23rd and 24th October 2010

MJ State Champs

BYRA was proud to host Regatta One of this season's Manly Junior NSW State Championship.

Fifty-three MJs took part in a very successful event despite some challenging weather conditions. Race one was sailed in good conditions on Saturday but the threat of an approaching storm caused race two to be postponed till Sunday. Races two and three were completed in drizzle on Sunday, with the sailors (and spectators) showing great courage in battling on till the end. Warm showers and lots of hot chocolates restored everyone's spirits back on shore.

Thanks to all the BYRA volunteers for making the weekend a great success for the MJ Association, and for BYRA.

Regatta 2: November 21st and 22nd 2010

Regatta Two took place at Hornsby PCYC Sailing Club.

Regatta 3: February 19th and 20th 2011

Regatta Three will take place at Point Wolstoncroft Sport and Rec.
