Moth For the dare-devils and adrenelin junkies, Moth sailing is fast, furious, and frequently out-of-control. The International Moth is an eleven foot long, high performance, single handed racing dinghy. One of the few development classes left in the world, the Moth has very few design rules including no weight limit. The class encourages innovation, and welcomes home boat building, wacky designs, and unconventionality with open arms. Foiling Moths were first invented and developed at BYRA!! Over the years, BYRA has hosted one of the most competitive Moth fleets in the world - BYRA Moth sailors have to date won 9 world championships and 18 national championships.
